Committee for the Celebrations

In occasion of the IV Centenary of the death of Padre Matteo Ricci (1610-2010, have been founded the Committee of the celebrations to organize, implement and promote events to celebrate this great man and his work.

The Municipality of Macerata, the Region Marche, the Province of Macerata, the Diocese of Macerata-Tolentino-Recanati-Cingoli-Treia , the University of Macerata are part of the Committee.

In the fourth centenary of the death, the program prepared by the Committee wants to promote the figure of Father Matteo Ricci through the scientific and popular events.
